An antiseptic chlorhexidine shampoo with a wide range of antimicrobial activity against fungi, viruses and most bacteria. Dogs and cats with smelly, greasy skin may have a bacterial or yeast infection present while some also have a fungal skin infection. For such animals, Soothe with 3% chlorhexidine is an excellent compound to help combat these types of problems. Chlorhexidine can also help as an adjunct to treatment for demodectic mange and other pyrodermas. Use full strength but can be diluted up to 3:1.
